Manati Park (Nature and animal theme park. Dolphin swims) -15 miles Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 15.5 miles (25 km.) Driving directions from Punta Cana International Airport: Turn right onto the main road, Calle Punta Cana Bávaro and head towards Punta Cana which is an enclave of resorts. Follow the signs to the hotel, which is on the right side of the road. Getting there: Taxis and rental cars are available. Taxi fare is in the $26–$35 range and rental cars are more than $36. Fees subject to change without notice. Rental cars are available online. Getting around: Public buses stop in front of the hotel and provide transport to a large shopping mall called Plaza Bávaro with many gift shops, a supermarket, and restaurants, and to the closest town of Higüey for fares less than $5.
