Driving directions from Vancouver International Airport: Follow Grant McConachie Way over the Arthur Laing Bridge. Exit onto Granville St and proceed over the Granville St Bridge. After the bridge, exit onto Seymour St, and continue to Pender St W. Turn right onto Pender and hotel is on the left. (Use the parking lot across the street during check-in.) Getting there: Taxis are the best way to arrive since the Airporter shuttle does not stop at the hotel. Black Top Cabs and Checkered taxis charge guests of this hotel a flat rate of $23 CDN compared to usual metered fares of $26–$35 CDN. Rental cars and limousines are more than $36 CDN. Fees subject to change without notice. Rental cars are available from this Web site. Getting around: The hotel is in the midst of a lively, walkable downtown area, with plenty of shopping, dining, nightlife, arts, and entertainment choices within a radius of 4 blocks. Pender leads into the heart of Chinatown but it is a longer walk—about 8 blocks east. Several bus routes run through the area, and both the Waterfront and Granville SkyTrain stations are 2 blocks away, for light rapid transit to the suburbs. SeaBuses also leave from Waterfront Station and cross Burrard Inlet to North Vancouver. Public bus, SkyTrain, and SeaBus fares run less than $5 CDN. Fees subject to change without notice. Driving in downtown can be confusing because of one-way streets but it is generally smooth and is the best way to travel from the city up the coast or to the islands. |
