Proceed north on Blvd Kukulcan, resort is located near Km marker 11.5 on right hand side of road. Authorized taxis, minivans (or collectivos), and private cars are the best way to make the journey from the airport to your resort. Transportation options can be accessed as you exit the terminal to your right. A private taxi to downtown Cancún: $16–$25 USD. A private taxi to the Resort Zone: more than $36 USD. Collectivos provide transportation to downtown Cancún: $5–$15 USD. A private car service to your resort can be arranged: more than $36 USD. Rental cars are available at the airport and on this Web site: more than $36 USD. Note: Only authorized taxis are allowed to transport guests from the airport to their resorts. However, all taxis can take passengers to the airport from the city or Resort Zone–cutting the fare almost in half. Getting around: The resort is located within Zona Holtelera, or Resort Zone. Public and private buses connect the Resort Zone to downtown and ferries: less than $5 USD. Once downtown, most tourist attractions are easily accessible by walking. | La Floresta - Serving breakfast, lunch, and ŕ la carte Italian dinners, this casual, air-conditioned restaurant offers three levels of seating overlooking the sea. Rosita's - This dinner restaurant has a resort wear dress code, features a pretty blue-and-yellow decor, and specializes in Mexican cuisine. La Palapa - Located by the pool, La Palapa serves an international lunch buffet and grill fare in the evenings, often as a prelude to entertainment. Lobby Bar - With live music after dark, the Lobby Bar is the spot for tropical drinks, conversation, and dancing. At the hotel's lobby, pool, and beach bars, all beverages, including liquor, beer, wine, juice, soft drinks, and tropical drinks, are part of the All-Inclusive Plan and may be ordered without limit. | What to expect: Offering complimentary activities day and night, the Beach Palace is fun for the whole family. A day might begin with Spanish lessons or handicrafts, followed by pool activities or dance aerobics, followed by cooking lessons or bingo. After lunch, more energetic activities, such as beach volleyball, ensue. In the evenings, theme buffets are laid out by the pool and are followed by karaoke, dance music, or a Mexican and Mayan song-and-dance show produced by the resort's entertainment staff. Amenity highlights: Spread out on a terrace along the Caribbean shore is the resort's three-section pool, which includes a shallow children's section and overlooks sand terraces raised above the white-sand beach. Two thatch-roof palapas offer shade at one end. Insider tip: As part of the All-Inclusive Plan, guests are entitled to use pools and beaches and dine and drink in restaurants and bars at all six other Palace Resorts: the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort south of Cancún Island; and at two Palace Resorts on the Riviera Maya, Xpu-Ha Palace and Aventura Spa Palace, about 50 miles south of Cancún. Transportation, however, is not provided. The Sun Palace and Cancun Palace are also in the Cancun hotel zone. |
| The 205-room, eight-story Beach Palace contains a Kidz Club off the lobby, where, at no extra charge, children are entertained in an air-conditioned room.
