Driving directions from Cancún International Airport: Take airport access road going east and follow signs to Zona Resortera and Blvd Kukulcan. Proceed to Km marker 8.5. Hotel is located in the Punta Cancun area on the right.

Authorized taxis, minivans (or collectivos), and private cars are the best way to make the journey from the airport to your hotel. Getting around: The hotel is located within Zona Holtelera, or Hotel Zone. Public and private buses connect the Hotel Zone to downtown and ferries: less than $5 USD. The hotel is within walking distance of Cancún Convention Center and the Plaza Caracol mall that offers shopping, restaurants, and houses the U.S. and Canadian consulates. Once downtown, most tourist attractions are easily accessible by walking. Taxi rates in Cancún are determined by zones and the minimum fare within the Cancún Hotel Zone is $5 USD per ride. A list outlining the various taxi rates throughout the city should be available at the resort front desk: $5–$15 USD. Taxis can be rented by the hour or day if you want to visit the historic ruins outside of the city: more than $36 USD. Always negotiate your taxi fare before beginning your trip. Amenity highlights: Built on a 20-foot-high bluff on Punta Cancún's lip, the resort has a rocky shore that offers snorkeling opportunities. White-sand beaches are located within 50 yards on both sides of the resort. Arrayed along the bluff's length are lawns and sand terraces furnished with padded lounge chairs for sunning and thatched-roof palapas and coconut trees for shade. Four brightly colored hammocks offer snoozing opportunities. The most popular spot is a large sundeck built over the sea. The split-level pool is surrounded by sundecks.
