Driving directions from San Diego International Airport: Take I-5 N to I-8 W and exit at West Mission Bay Dr/Sports Arena Blvd. Turn right at the exit and follow signs for W Mission Bay Dr. After the loop, go to the second traffic light and hotel is on the right.

Getting there: Most guests take the Cloud 9 shuttle ($5–15 one-way) or taxis ($16–25.) Other options include rental cars, Town Cars, and limousines, all more than $36. Fees subject to change without notice. Rental cars are available online.

Getting around: The beach and a few places to eat and shop are within a few blocks of the hotel, but otherwise, guests need a ride to get around. MTS buses stop in front of the hotel but a transfer is required into downtown. Bus, trolley, and commuter rail fares are less than $5. Taxis or rental cars are more convenient. Driving in the San Diego area requires frequent use of freeways and in the downtown core, one-way streets.
