Getting around: This hotel is surrounded only by other hotels so guests have to go farther for more shopping and dining options. It is a mile from Old Town with its many shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, historic sites, and other tourist attractions so walking is possible but taxis and rental cars are more convenient. From the Old Town Transit Center, visitors can catch trolleys, buses, and Coaster commuter trains. In front of the hotel guests can hop onto the MTS bus that goes to Fashion Valley Mall and there connect to other buses or trolleys. One-way bus, trolley, and Coaster fares are less than $5. Water taxis travel around San Diego Bay, stopping at various points depending on passenger request; most one-way fares are $5–15; reservations preferred. Ferries cross between Broadway Pier and the Ferry Landing Marketplace on Coronado for less than $5 one-way. Fees subject to change without notice.
