Getting around: This hotel is a mile from Old Town with its many shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, historic sites, and other tourist attractions so walking is possible but MTS bus # 6 from across the street, or taxis and rental cars are more convenient. From the Old Town Transit Center, visitors can catch trolleys, buses, and Coaster commuter trains for one-way fares less than $5. Water taxis travel around San Diego Bay, stopping at various points depending on passenger request; most one-way fares are $5–15; reservations preferred.
