Getting around: This hotel’s downtown location means that much is within walking distance of a few blocks. Plenty of shopping, dining, theaters, and other entertainment options surround the hotel so a car is not necessary. Besides the buses, trolleys are close by. Both the orange and blue lines roll into the Civic Center Trolley Station, 2 short blocks away on C St and 3rd Av. The Coaster commuter rail pulls in at Broadway and Kettner Blvd. Fares on public transit are less than $5. For travel in San Diego Bay, ferries leave from Broadway Pier for Coronado and water taxis stop at various points depending on passenger request (reservations preferred.)
