Getting around: Guests can take the hotel courtesy shuttle to the airport, where for under $5 a BART light rail station offers service to points north, including San Francisco. Two miles from the hotel is the S San Francisco Station for CalTrain, a commuter train that runs between San Francisco to the north and Gilroy to the south. Less than one block from the hotel is a bus stop for SamTrans, the San Mateo County public transit system. Guests who plan extensive local travel may prefer to rent a car, but BART is the best bet for travel into San Francisco because parking there is generally scarce and expensive.
