Getting there: Shuttles are convenient and cost $5–15 per person. They are available just outside baggage claim. Taxis are also located outside baggage claim, and they charge $26–35 for the trip. Rental cars are another option, and they are available online. Getting around: In addition to walking to the many stores and restaurants nearby, guests often take advantage of the city bus. It provides excellent service, and a stop is located less than one block from the hotel. A single fare costs less than $5, while a four-day visitor pass can be purchased at designated locations for $16–25. Fees subject to change without notice. Taxi service is also excellent, with cabs usually available within five minutes of being called. Rental cars (available online) are handy for longer island excursions, such as trips around the island's perimeter, or travel to the north shore. |
