Driving directions from Honolulu International Airport: Take H-1 Fwy east to Nimitz Hwy, which becomes Ala Moana Blvd. Merge onto Kalakaua Ave, turn left onto Lewers St, and proceed to the hotel on the left side of the street immediately after Lauula St. Getting there: Shuttles and taxis are both available for the trip to the hotel. They can be found right outside baggage claim. Shuttles charge $5–15 per person, while taxis usually cost $26–35. Rental cars are another option and are available online. All fees subject to change without notice. Getting around: The hotel is located amidst dozens of shops, restaurants, and attractions, so walking is definitely in order. For tired feet, however, the city bus—appropriately dubbed "TheBus"—provides excellent service. Stops are located near the hotel, and a single fare costs less than $5. Four-day passes are also available for the cost of $16–25, a good bet for those who plan to use the system extensively. For short trips, taxis are another good bet; the hotel can call for service if a cab is not already waiting outside. Tour services can connect guests with more outlying locations (fees vary), or guests can opt for a rental car instead. Rental cars are available online. |
