Driving directions from Honolulu International Airport: Take H-1 Fwy heading east to 25A King St. Turn right at second stoplight onto Kapahulu Ave. Follow Kapahulu until road ends at T intersection. Turn left onto Kalakaua Ave. Immediately take right fork in road. Hotel is the first tall building on the right (ocean) side of the street.

The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel is located at the eastern end of Waikiki—technically outside of the city—on a quiet beach called Sans Souci, close to the base of Diamond Head volcanic crater. (It is said that author Robert Louis Stevenson used to frequent this area.)
