    DINING
Parker’s Restaurant - This upscale dining area decorated with oak paneling and Waterford crystal chandeliers serves savory American/Continental cuisine, including its famous Parker House rolls and Boston cream pie. President John F. Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier at Table 10.

Parker’s Bar - Mahogany paneling, a working fireplace, and stained-glass windows provide a comfortable setting for cocktails and dining from the Parker’s Restaurant menu. The spot was popular with Boston’s Literary Club, a 19th-century group that included Thoreau, Emerson, and Oliver Wendell Holmes.

The Last Hurrah – For over 50 years this bar has remained poplar with Beacon Hill politicians for lunch, dinner, and cocktails. It was moved from the hotel’s lower level to street level and now has a lighter more casual feel than other dining areas in the hotel. It’s a good spot for people-watching and School and Tremont Streets.

What to expect: Hand-carved woodwork, crystal chandeliers, and ornate elevators with their original bronze façades create a luxurious and welcoming lobby ambience.
