For those seeking a more inexpensive option, a complimentary shuttle runs from the terminal to the T, Boston's rapid transit system. Take the Blue Line to Government Center, transfer to the Green Line, and exit the T at Arlington Street. The hotel is across the street from the station.

    Getting around: Walking is the best way to get around town, and many attractions are within walking distance of the hotel.     Bonfire - The grill is the center of attraction at this ranch-style restaurant, where guests watch chefs prepare meats, chicken, and fish over an open flame.     McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant - The restaurant serves 40 varieties of fresh fish and seafood caught locally or flown in daily, such as Atlantic salmon from Casco Bay and rainbow trout from Idaho. The menu also includes chicken, steak, and pasta dishes. The weeknight bar menu is popular with local businesspeople. Curtained tables, known as snuggeries, provide intimate dining for parties of six.

    Swan’s Court Lobby Bar & Restaurant - The hotel’s lovely dining room has tables surrounded by comfortable chairs and settees and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. It also offers a formal afternoon tea service with assorted finger sandwiches, fresh scones and crème fraiche, and assorted petit fours. Reservations for tea are strongly recommended.

    Whiskey Park - This hip lounge with roomy leather chairs and a faux-mink couch is owned by Cindy Crawford’s husband, Rande Gerber. It’s where hotel guests and local Bostonians mingle over cocktails under a bronze-mirrored ceiling.
