Driving directions from LAS: Exit the airport via Swenson St. Turn left on E Naples Ave, then turn right on Paradise Rd. Turn left on E Flamingo Rd and follow it to Las Vegas Blvd S (the Strip).

Getting there: The best option from the airport is a taxi ($5–$15; fees subject to change without notice) or a rental car.

Getting around: Guests have several options for getting up and down the Strip. City buses (less than $5) run the length of the Strip; private trollies (less than $5) serve the larger casinos. Many guests choose to walk. Taxis are readily available, and guests who drive will find complimentary parking at most locations. A rental car is the best option for travel outside the Strip. Michael's - Under a stained glass, domed ceiling, Michael's offers gourmet cuisine, with selections such as lobster, filet mignon, baked escargot, and sautéed mushrooms, plus homemade soups and freshly tossed salads. Reservations recommended.

Drai's - Drai's offers four separate dining rooms and a private room available for special occasions or parties. The restaurant has red walls with palm-frond accents. Menu specialties include leg of lamb, sea bass, and Black Angus steak. A comfortable lounge features live entertainment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. After midnight, the restaurant converts into a techno-style dance club, with DJ music until sunrise.

Amenity highlights: The Barbary Coast has a cozy casino with 680 slot and video poker machines, and table games with low limits. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the hotel offers complimentary craps lessons. The race and sports book area has multiple TV screens for tracking multiple bets and features a “Ties Win” parlay card.
