    DB Bistro Moderne - A creation of celebrated chef Daniel Boulud, the bistro serves seasonal French-American fare in two dining rooms: a casual front room with giant photos of red and yellow dahlias on lipstick-red walls, and a more intimate table-clothed room in the back. Among the signature dishes is the DB Burger: ground sirloin with a center of wine-braised short ribs on a toasted homemade parmesan bun. Dessert choices include Mocha Japonaise with Toasted Almond Ice Cream, and Lemon Ginger Napoleon.

    Located on Manhattan’s historic Club Row, the City Club Hotel was formerly a gentlemen’s club and private sanctuary for New York’s power brokers. A discreet entryway leads to a small, intimate lobby. The updated interior was designed by Jeffrey Bilhuber, whose clients include Vogue editor Anna Wintour, David and Iman Bowie, and Michael Douglas. Traditional materials such as bronze, mica, and limestone blend with modern design in a decor that Bilhuber refers to as New American Classicism.
