Driving directions from LaGuardia: Exit the airport and follow signs to Grand Central Pkwy west. Exit at Brooklyn/Queens Expy west. Exit at the Brooklyn Bridge and cross the bridge. Exit to Pearl St and turn right. Turn right on Fulton St, then turn left on Gold St.

Driving directions from JFK: Take I-678 (Van Wyck Expy) to SR 27 west. Take Exit 17W to N Conduit Ave. Continue on Atlantic Ave, then bear right onto Flatbush Ave. Continue on Flatbush Ave Extension, then turn left on Tillary St. Turn right onto Brooklyn Bridge Blvd and take the Brooklyn Bridge. Exit to Pearl St and turn right. Turn right on Fulton St, then turn left on Gold St.

Driving directions from Newark: Follow signs to take US 1/US 9 north, then take I-78 east. Follow signs to take the Holland Tunnel. Exit the tunnel and continue on Beach St. Continue on Walker St, then turn right on Broadway. Turn left on Ann St, then turn right on Gold St.

Getting there: For the solo traveler, the best option from any of the airports is a shuttle van ($16–25). For groups of two or more, a taxi is usually a better value (more than $36). Other transportation options, including JFK's Air Train and express buses from all three airports, are less expensive ($5–15), but do not go to individual hotels. Getting around: Walking is an excellent way to see the sights in the immediate area. For other destinations, the subway is a good choice, especially during rush hour (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice). Taxis are another good way to get around town. Rental cars are not recommended.
