Getting there: For the solo traveler, the best option from any of the airports is a shuttle van ($16–25). Groups of two or more usually find that a taxi is a better value ($26–35 from LaGuardia; more than $36 from JFK and Newark). Other transportaion options include the Air Train from JFK ($5–15), and express buses from all three airports ($5–15); however, these options do not take travelers directly to the hotel. Getting around: The best way to see the sights in the immediate area is on foot. For other destinations, the subway is a good option (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice), especially during rush hour. Taxis are also a good choice for getting around town. Rental cars are not recommended.
