Getting there: From LaGuardia or JFK, the best option for the solo traveler is a shuttle van ($16–25). Groups of two or more will usually find a taxi is a better value ($26–35 from LaGuardia; more than $36 from JFK). Shuttle vans ($16–25) are also a good choice from Newark. Getting around: For shops and attractions in the immediate area, walking is the best way to get around. For other destinations, the subway is a good choice (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice), especially during peak traffic. Taxis are also a good option. Rental cars are not recommended.
