Getting there: From LaGuardia and JFK, the best option for the solo traveler is a shuttle van ($16–25). Groups of two or more will probably find a taxi to be a better value ($26–35 from LaGuardia; more than $36 from JFK). Guests traveling light from JFK may also opt for the Air Train ($5–15), and then take a taxi from the station. Getting around: The best way to reach attractions in the immediate area is on foot. The subway (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice) is a good choice for other destinations, especially during peak traffic hours. Taxis are also readily available. Rental cars are not recommended.
