Getting there: From LaGuardia and JFK, the best option for the solo traveler is a shuttle van ($16–25). Groups of two or more will usually find a taxi more economical ($26–35 from LaGuardia; more than $36 from JFK). Guests traveling light from JFK may also opt for the Air Train ($5–15), then a taxi from the station to the hotel. Getting around: For shops and attractions in the immediate area, walking is the best way to get around. The subway (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice) is a good way to reach other destinations, especially during peak traffic hours. Taxis are also readily available. Rental cars are not recommended.
