Alain Ducasse at the Essex House - An eight-star Michelin chef, with restaurants in Paris and Monte Carlo, Alain Ducasse has opened his first New York City location at the Essex House. Chef Didier Elena studied under Ducasse for 12 years and has made this gourmet restaurant an immediate hit in New York City.

Café Botanica - American-Mediterranean cuisine with Italian accents. The café serves all meals, including a special three-course lunch, pre-theater dinner, with prix fixe menus and á la carte children's and adult's menu. Champagne brunch on Sunday.
