Those traveling from light from JFK can also opt for the Air Train ($5–15), then take a taxi from the station. From Newark, travelers can opt for a shuttle van ($16–25), or take the Olympia Express bus ($5–15) to Port Authority or Penn Station, then take a taxi to the hotel. Getting around: Central Park and many shops, museums, and theaters are within walking distance. The subway (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice) is a good option for other destinations, especially during rush hour. Taxis are also readily available. Rental cars are not recommended.
