    DINING
ICON - The restaurant of the neighboring W Court Hotel is available to Tuscany guests for all meals daily.

W Café - Light fare from the kitchen of Icon is served in a colorful lobby setting of gray-and-wood paneled walls and purple drapes.

CHERRY BAR - The dim room positively glows with red walls, red leather seating, and a cherry-red pool table. A special convex mirror overhead insures that everyone has a prime view, no matter where they are seated at this hip and sensual bar. It was created by Rande Gerber, designer of the popular Whiskey bars in New York, New Orleans, and Las Vegas.

    SERVICES
What to expect: Smaller and slightly more upscale than its neighbor, the W Court, the 16-story Tuscany reopened in 1999 after a total renovation that added W contemporary style to the boutique property. The cutting-edge decor and the intimacy of the hotel, with only seven or eight rooms per floor, appeal to travelers from the entertainment, fashion, and business worlds, as well as leisure travelers.

Amenity highlights: The rooms at the Tuscany average a generous 480 square feet, with luxury bedding, an upholstered chaise lounge, Internet access via infrared keyboard, and two phones—one a cordless dual-line, the other with data port and speakerphone. Guests can set up their own e-mail address while at the hotel.

W hotels pride themselves on service, exemplified by the "Whatever, Whenever" button on the phone, giving access to 24-hour concierge, dining, or valet services. The hotel also offers express check-in/checkout, a multilingual staff, and turndown service.

    Valet parking:
    $40 per 24-hour period. No in/out privileges.
Fee does not include tax, may vary by weekday, and is subject to change without prior notification.
