Driving directions from Portland International Airport: Take Airport Way to I-205 S. Continue to I-84 W. Follow the signs for I-5 S/City Center and branch off to the left. Stay to the right, following the City Center/Morrison St signs. Cross the Morrison Bridge and turn right at the bottom of the bridge onto SW Second Ave. Turn left onto SW Oak St. Continue five blocks and turn left onto SW Broadway. The hotel is on the corner.

Getting there: Taxis are readily available for transport from the airport to the hotel, and the cost is $26–35. MAX, Portland's light rail line, also makes the trip to downtown in 35 minutes for less than $5. Guests take the Red Line to Pioneer Square North and walk four blocks north to the hotel. Getting around: Downtown Portland is easy to get around on foot. But when guests tire of walking, the hotel offers complimentary Town Car service downtown. In addition, most of the downtown core and some adjacent areas (including the Convention Center and Lloyd Center shopping) are located in a free ride zone for public buses, streetcar service, and the MAX light rail line. For trips beyond the free ride zone, single passes or all-day passes cost less than $5, while three-day passes are available for $5–15. Fees subject to change without notice. El Gaucho - This upscale, theatrical Argentinian steak and chop house has low lighting, dark wood, and an open kitchen. Open for dinner only, El Gaucho also has a cigar lounge and a bar with live music.

Lobby Court Grill - The Lobby Court Grill offers buffet lunch and an evening bar with a light menu. Live regional jazz bands play here Wednesday through Saturday evenings.

Amenity highlights: The main lobby and fireplace are framed by walls finished in rare (now extinct) Circassian walnut imported from the forests of Imperial Russia. Notable lobby features include a coffered ceiling, Austrian crystal chandeliers, and an Italian marble staircase. Guests are encouraged to linger over complimentary morning coffee and tea and afternoon tea and cookies. Northwest jazz bands provide entertainment Wednesday through Saturday evenings.
