Driving directions from SAT: Follow signs to Rte. 281 south and continue on I-37 south. Take Exit 141B (Houston St./The Alamo) and turn right on E. Houston. Turn left on Bonham St., then right on Crockett St. Turn left on Alamo Plaza and the hotel is on the left. Getting there: The SA TRANS airport shuttle is located right outside the San Antonio Airport baggage claim, and is the best option for solo travelers ($5–15). Groups of two or more will probably find it more economical to take a taxi ($16–25). (Fees are subject to change without notice.) Getting around: The Alamo and many other attractions are a short walk from the hotel. A convenient and economical way to reach other destinations is the VIA Streetcars (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice). The streetcar stop is adjacent to the hotel and provides transport around downtown, and express service to SeaWorld and Fiesta Six Flags. |
