Getting there: The most affordable way to reach the hotel is by Gray Line's Airport Express, which provides regular bus service between the airport and several downtown hotels; the cost is $5–15. Getting around: All the attractions of Seattle Center are within walking distance. From Seattle Center, visitors can take the monorail—an elevated train—into the heart of downtown for less than $5. Travelers interested in public transportation enjoy a large "ride free zone" spanning practically all of downtown; the zone begins three blocks southwest of the hotel. Although rush hour traffic is heavy, it is also possible to drive downtown; garages are generally easier to find than on-street parking. Rental cars are definitely the best bet for travel beyond the immediate area.
