    The hotel is located on the sunny west coast of Tahiti (main island of French Polynesia). The resort faces the island of Moorea, 12 miles away, across the Sea of Moons.

    Faa'a Airport: Approximate driving time is 5 minutes and distance is 1 mile.

    Directions from Faa'a Airport: Head south from the Airport (in the opposite direction from town). The Beachcomber is the closest hotel to the airport.

    ROOMS
    The resort features 173 rooms in a main building, each one offering a garden, lagoon, or ocean view. For complete privacy, there are 32 traditional, over-water bungalows with reed roofs. Décor is simple but elegant, in tropical style, with bamboo and rattan furniture and wooden floors. Every room or bungalow has its own private balcony and private bathroom. The windows open and there is a ceiling fan for letting in the tropical breezes. For hotter weather, rooms are equipped with air conditioners.

    Tiare Restaurant - This outdoor amphitheatre-shaped restaurant has three levels with lagoon views. Tahitian dance shows are performed in the evenings, at the waters edge. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    Le Lotus Restaurant - This over-water restaurant offers lunch, dinner à la carte, and drinks at a swim-up bar.

    Tiki Bar - Offering views of the pool, lagoon, and Tiare shows, this bar also features a live band at sunset.

    The Intercontinental Beachcomber Resort spans 30 acres on the west coast of Tahiti. Grounds include a private beach and a lagoon that face the Island of Moorea, across the Sea of Moons. The resort offers two freshwater pools, as well as equipment rentals for diving, boating, and other beach activities. Guests can also sign up for basket weaving, pareu demonstration and painting, or Tahitian quilt-sewing classes.
